The Role:

We are seeking applications for a quality focused Diving and Hyperbaric Technician based in Caringbah, NSW.
Reporting to the Team Leader, the position is responsible for undertaking service and maintenance of diving support equipment, principally hyperbaric systems and military rebreathers with an exceptional focus on quality.
We’re looking for a passionate technically minded professional who has an eye for detail and works diligently to ensure the quality of critical life support equipment. Diving experience is not essential, and the role does not involve any diving responsibilities.
What you’ll be doing:
- The disassembly, testing and reassembly of a range of commercial and defence diving equipment.
- Hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.
- Carry out planned and corrective maintenance of equipment.
- Maintaining, following and completing paperwork such as service documentation, drawings and work instructions.
What we’re looking for:
- Mechanical trade qualified (desired).
- Experience in servicing hyperbaric systems, breathing apparatus (commercial or diving equipment), or working within aviation or marine safety equipment maintenance environments is desirable but not essential for success in this role
- Computer literate – basic knowledge of MS Office suite
- Ability to gain security access to AUS Defence establishments, hold a police clearance and gain required security clearance.
