Office Administrator
Cattedown Wharves, Plymouth
Permanent position (Part-time 20 hours per week)
The Company:
Cattedowm Wharves (Part of James Fisher PLC.) is located in Plymouth on the River Plym in an area known as the Cattewater, with excellent access to the Devon expressway.
Cattedown Wharves are historically a very successful Port Operator. We have a vast amount of experience allowing us to adapt our procedures for different bulk and packaged products and we welcome all future challenges.
The Role:
To provide a point of contact for all phone calls and emails to the office along with general administration and reception duties, including photo copying, filing, answering calls and emails.
Dealing with customer contracts and paperwork involved with the feed/aggregate and clay deliveries/collections.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Dealing with Hauliers and Suppliers
- Liaise with the Workshop Manager
- Liaise with the weighbridge staff regarding tickets for collections
- Collating the payroll information
- Purchase ledger accounting – purchasing/ purchase orders
- Stock control
- Shipping movements information
- Facilities management – arranging contractors, waste collections etc
- Provide support to wharf manager and product line director
- Maintaining feed certification records
- Provide holiday cover
*You will need to live within a commutable distance to Plymouth for this role
