The Role
In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting system users and maintaining computer systems and hardware to ensure smooth operations. Principle Accountabilities
- Provide first-line support for ERP and other core systems, including Microsoft Business Central and IFS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to systems, monitor system performance and implement improvements when needed.
- Liaise with system support partners where needed to resolve issues.
- Assist with the implementation and upgrade of systems.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective use of systems.
- Maintain documentation related to systems, including user manuals and technical guides.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of business analysis and process mapping.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in supporting ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Business Central or IFS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management is a plus.
- Experience in Organisational Change Management.
- Experience with system integration and data migration.
- Familiarity with business processes in finance, supply chain, and operations.
- Previous security clearance would be advantageous.

This role requires strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, ensuring that issues are resolved efficiently with meticulous attention to detail. A creative and innovative mindset is essential for developing new solutions to meet evolving ERP challenges. Additionally, strong stakeholder management is crucial, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a small team to drive success.
