Automation Technician

The Role:
Are you a hands‑on problem solver with a passion for keeping advanced technology running at its best? We’re looking for a skilled Automation Technician to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our equipment.
In this position, you’ll be responsible for delivering high‑quality service, performing diagnostics and troubleshooting, and carrying out routine and preventative maintenance across our machinery and systems.

What you'll be doing:
- Perform service and maintenance in line with company procedures.
- Be a part of the crew for building new compressors / HP washers
- Carry out equipment upgrades and modifications.
- Record completed work in the maintenance system.
- Support certification processes in accordance with internal and customer requirements.
- Undertake occasional travel for service tasks and offshore/onshore project support, both in the UK and internationally .
- Use personal protective equipment as required by company guidelines.
- Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Work towards company HSE goals and maintain familiarity with the HSE system.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant laws, regulations, and internal/external instructions.
- Conduct tasks safely without risk to people, the environment, or company assets.
- Report non‑conformities and submit improvement suggestions through the appropriate channels.
What we're looking for:
- Trade certificate in electrical work or as an automation mechanic with Ex & Atex experience .
- Course for being able to work on Ex equipment is preferred.
- Previous experience in electrical work.
- Solution‑oriented with strong collaboration skills.
- Quality‑focused with a solid commitment to HSEQ.
- Proficient in Norwegian and English, both written and verbal.
