The Role:
As Southeast Asia (SEA) Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding our presence within the defence sector across the region. Responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities, you will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, deliver ambitious sales targets and strengthen our position in strategically important markets.
This is a highly visible role requiring a proactive, commercially focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities. Success will be driven by your ability to develop trusted client relationships, navigate complex opportunities and deliver results through strong communication, problem-solving and attention to detail.
The position requires regular travel across Southeast Asia, alongside occasional international travel, to support customer engagement, business development activities and industry events. Fluency in English is essential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within the Southeast Asia defence sector, delivering sustainable growth and achieving sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including major defence primes, Ministries of Defence (MoDs), military organisations and other strategic partners.
- Develop and execute sales and business development strategies informed by market intelligence, industry trends and competitor analysis.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals and commercial agreements that support successful bid and contract outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and projects are delivered successfully.
- Monitor, analyse and report on sales performance, providing regular market and pipeline updates to senior leadership.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences and trade exhibitions, enhancing brand awareness and generating new business opportunities.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the SEA defence sector.
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using sales management software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
