The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a highly specialised Diving & Hyperbaric Products team within a global leader in subsea and hyperbaric capabilities. As Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy, performance, and growth of a critical product line across both Defence and commercial environments.
You’ll provide hands-on leadership to a focused, high-performing team, ensuring delivery excellence while driving innovation and operational improvements. Working across sites in Caringbah and Beresfield (Newcastle), you will collaborate closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes and position the business for future growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the strategic planning, execution, and performance of Diving & Hyperbaric product lines in Australia
- Oversee programme and project delivery, ensuring alignment to budget, schedule, and business objectives
- Provide strong, visible leadership and direction to a specialised team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Drive continuous improvement across operational processes, systems, and delivery frameworks
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support delivery and growth
- Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Contribute to business development initiatives by assessing market trends and identifying growth opportunities
What we’re looking for:
- Defence diving experience (Navy and/or Army)
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in complex environments
- Experience managing maritime systems within diving and/or hyperbaric environments
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, specialised operational setting
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Have the ability to gain and maintain an Australian Security Clearance
