The Role:
The Production Manager will be accountable for the planning, management, and safe delivery of all diving systems maintenance and repair activities, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with contractual schedules, performance requirements, and KPIs. The role oversees resource allocation, work prioritisation, and team coordination to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Responsible for driving continuous improvement, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring the reliability and availability of diving systems to support business and customer objectives.
What you'll be doing:
- Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety standards, requirements, and best practices.
- Plan and oversee the safe and efficient delivery of diving systems maintenance and repair activities, ensuring contractual commitments and performance targets are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing high-quality service delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency, and service quality.
- Manage operational risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and security requirements.
- Lead, develop, and support the team, ensuring personnel are trained, competent, and equipped to perform their roles effectively.
What we're looking for:
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline, with post-graduate qualifications highly regarded.
- Proven experience in production management, ideally within a service delivery, maintenance, or client-facing environment.
- Experience working within Defence contracts or highly regulated industries is desirable.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to develop, coach, and motivate high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Solid understanding of program management principles and their application in an operational setting.
- A strategic thinker with strong operational knowledge and the ability to balance long-term objectives with day-to-day delivery.
