About the Role

ROV Supervisor
Full-time, Permanent
Singapore

Please note that this role requires security checks.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced ROV Supervisor to lead the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of ROV operations across a range of offshore projects. Based in Singapore, you will provide technical leadership, supervise personnel, and ensure ROV systems and associated equipment remain fully operational and ready for deployment.

Working closely with project, vessel, and operational teams, you will support the planning and execution of onshore and offshore activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, performance, and asset integrity. This is a dynamic role offering exposure to multiple projects, business streams, and operational locations across the region and internationally.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in ROV operations, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering operational excellence in challenging offshore environments. Regional and international travel will be required, along with offshore deployment and flexibility to support operational demands when needed.

What you’ll be doing:

Whilst Onshore

  • Ensure ROV systems, equipment, spares, consumables, tools, and support equipment are maintained in a state of operational readiness for deployment.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support mobilisation, demobilisation, operational planning, project preparation, and risk assessment activities.
  • Supervise maintenance, inspection, testing, and certification activities in accordance with OEM requirements, company procedures, and statutory/class requirements.
  • Monitor equipment condition, operational performance, and personnel safety, reporting and escalating defects, deficiencies, or operational limitations as required.
  • Maintain technical documentation, manuals, drawings, procedures, and operational records.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and competence development support to assigned personnel while promoting safe working practices.
 Whilst Offshore
  • Lead the safe, efficient, and compliant deployment, operation, recovery, and maintenance of ROV systems and associated equipment.
  • Maintain operational oversight of all ROV activities, ensuring adherence to HSSEQ requirements, operational procedures, risk assessments, and project requirements.
  • Monitor system performance and equipment condition, managing and escalating defects or limitations that could impact safety, readiness, or operational delivery.
  • Ensure operational records, maintenance documentation, reports, and project deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and provide leadership, guidance, and support to offshore personnel.
  • Undertake additional operational, technical, supervisory, and secondary role responsibilities as directed by the Operations Manager.
 What we’re looking for:
  • Recognised diploma qualification in a relevant engineering or technical discipline
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop personnel.
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions and exercise effective judgement in high-pressure operational environments.
  • Extensive experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems within offshore or subsea environments.
  • Significant experience in Work Class ROV operations and maintenance, including pilot and supervisory responsibilities. Experience with Schilling ROV systems is preferred.
  • Medically fit and capable of meeting offshore and maritime deployment requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with operational teams, clients, and stakeholders.
 Why join us?
  • Clear pathways for career development and organisational visibility
  • Inclusive and supportive culture that values individual contributions
  • Meaningful work with impact across safety, innovation, and global operations
