The Role:
To have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operational delivery of the P66 Terminal Services Contract.
To maintain professional and cordial relationships with the customer’s operational staff and ensure that both terminal and vessel maintenance tasks are planned and carried out in a timely manner.

Operational Scope:
Tetney Oil Terminal is the storage and pumping facility for the Humber Oil Refinery at South Killingholme and is served from the Tetney Monobuoy.
The Tetney Monobuoy is situated approximately 2 miles south of Spurn Head and is an open roadstead at the entrance to the River Humber on the East Coast of England.

The Tetney Monobuoy is the client’s main crude oil import facility. It consists of a SPM system located at the mouth of the Humber Estuary in a water depth of approximately 20 meters and some 5 miles distant from the shore terminal. The system is a Catenary Anchor Leg Mooring (“CALM”) buoy type with ‘Lazy S’ configuration with 20” subsea hoses. it is an import only facility and has approximately 110 shipping movements a year with a throughput in the region of 9 million cubic meters of crude oil.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Assets Manager to ensure vessels supplied for the scope of work and the Marine Facility are maintained, serviceable and operational.
  • Work with Tetney Crewing to ensure suitable qualified personnel capable of carrying performing operations are available as per the scope of work.
  • Ensure the provision of towage services and make best endeavours to prioritise the customer requirements and prevent any berthing delays due to towage services.
  • Support the provision of diving work ensuring the dive team are available on a twenty-four (24) call-out and can respond within one (1) hour, this will be supported by the Dive Supervisor and Tetney Crewing.
  • Provide the client with daily updates to the current and 24hr hence plan as well as an end of the week report, detailing at a minimum a monthly look ahead of any planned maintenance activities taking into account the client’s operational requirements.
  • Ensure collection and re-charge of the charges to third parties in relation to the provision of Services for tankers berthing at the marine facility as detailed in the Scope of Work in accordance with the Tetney Monobuoy Tariff.

Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience of logistics and or marine coordination roles.
  • Familiarity with government regulations and procedures related to the maritime industry.
  • Marine qualification desirable.
  • Knowledge of diving operations desirable.
  • Experience of working with oil majors in the regulated oil & gas industry.
