Job Purpose:
Multi-disciplined Service Technician duties to include assembly, test, operate, service, supervise and maintain JFO and third-party equipment offshore.
Role and Responsibilities:
- When working on company scopes of work, direct and lead a team of technicians on the job scope, ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed.
- To actively participate in pre and post job briefings and to ensure that appropriate knowledge transfer takes place.
- To become familiar with JFO and third-party equipment, to follow appropriate procedures during assembly, testing, operations, servicing and maintenance of this equipment.
- To ensure all work is carried out in accordance with JFO’s policies and guidelines.
- To be responsible for own safety and the safety of others within the workplace by working in a safe, tidy and efficient manner.
- To carry out various other general duties as directed and to represent the company in a professional manner.
- Carry out and assist with training on CFE related tooling, sonar and auxiliary equipment when required both on and offshore.
- Assist the JFO dedicated project teams on project planning as and when required.
- Leading remote maintenance campaigns whilst adhering to JFO procedures, policies and documentation.
- To carry out various other general duties as directed and to represent the company in a professional manner.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Time served in a mechanical, hydraulic role.
- Qualification in mechanical engineering or similar
- Previous experience in an offshore environment.
- Time served in a mechanical, hydraulic role.

- Good knowledge of mechanically operated tools and diesel engines.
- Understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic control systems and the control components within these systems.
- Strong focus on client satisfaction.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Gemini Sonar
- Knowledge of hydraulic circuits
- Plant machinery experience
- Good knowledge of subsea services industry equipment.
- Previous experience supervising teams both on and offshore
