About the Role

Join our dynamic Production Workshop team as a Mechanical Technician and embark on a thrilling journey where no two days are the same! In this role, you'll be at the heart of assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, and testing of our cutting-edge products. You'll ensure our products meet design and quality standards, while also taking charge of high-quality assembly, testing, and installation work. With a keen eye for organization, you'll keep tasks and deadlines on track, maintaining a neat workspace and tools. Your adaptability and communication skills will shine as you navigate changing circumstances and collaborate effectively with others. We're looking for someone methodical, thorough, and ready to take ownership of tasks, driving them to completion with a focus on delivering top-notch results. The successful candidate will be a Swedish citizen deemed eligible for Swedish security clearance

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for installation work of JFD Sweden’s products according to instructions and time plan.
  • Organisation: keeping track of tasks and deadlines, maintaining a neat and orderly workspace including responsible to maintaining tools and assets.
  • Responsible to maintain high quality assembly and testing of products as well as installation work.
  • Ensure Quality assurance by Signing off AITP, Certification and fill in internal concern reports.
  • Accountable for compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental legal and other requirements as required.
    Effectively manage workload in order to meet the schedule and our customers requirements from start to completion of each order.
  • Communication: effectively communicating with others, seeking clarification, and responding to feedback.
  • Adaptability: being flexible and able to adjust to changing circumstances, taking on new challenges and responsibilities. 

Knowledge, Experience, Skills Required

  • Swedish citizen with security clearance eligibility
  • Experience in boat building, maintenance, or service of commercial/leisure vessels, or subsea/maritime/aviation/vehicle background desirable
  • Experience in demanding businesses with a focus on technology, quality, and safety
  • Experience in diesel engine and/or water jet maintenance and installation desirable
  • Experience in bonding and composite works desirable
  • Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and written instructions
  • Methodical and thorough
  • Willingness to take ownership and accountability of tasks
  • Focused on delivering high-quality output to tight deadlines
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage own timescales
  • Systematic, methodical, and excellent attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks
  • Flexible for travel to local or overseas sites if required
