About the Role

Talent Management Business Partner
Full-Time, Permanent
London/Aberdeen or Glasgow, Hybrid working 

The Role
As the Talent Management Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping and executing talent strategies that align with the company's transformation goals. You will act as the right hand to the Head of Talent Management, and a trusted partner to drive key initiatives across the Group, influencing decision - making at the highest levels. 

You will lead efforts to optimise talent management processes, develop key employee capabilities, and contribute to the seamless delivery of strategic talent programmes across the company. 

We are looking for experience in change management, strategic talent planning and initiatives, and a can-do attitude! You will also be passionate about using talent data to drive decisions and enhance talent management outcomes.

The role can be based in either our London, Aberdeen or Glasgow offices. It will also require occasional travel to our sites across the UK.

Principle Accountabilities 

  • Develop the strategy to transform the existing performance management system into a continuous performance management platform.
  • Partnering with the Head of Talent Management to design, implement, and manage talent processes.
  • Work with the learning and development team to ensure development and delivery any relevant training and resources to drive adoption and capability.
  • Lead the framework for career pathing alongside any appropriate competency frameworks to drive organisational effectiveness.
  • Develop toolkits and resources to support stakeholders in embedding talent management systems and procedures, leveraging technology to improve the employee experience.
  • Work with business leaders in partnership with HR to lead workforce planning activities, including identifying critical roles and creating development pathways to ensure business continuity and growth.
  • Facilitate team building interventions and use of psychometric tools to enhance team effectiveness and leadership coaching.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of leadership development programs, supporting our People Leaders with training and tools.
  • Utilise talent data and analytics to identify trends and design interventions that directly align with the organisation's strategic objectives, ensuring measurable impact on business outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Extensive expertise as a strategic business partner and internal consultant within talent management, with a proven track record of driving impactful talent initiatives and solutions.
  • Proven track record of driving successful change management and talent initiatives, with a solid understanding of talent management theory, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to become a trusted advisor and influence key senior decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to design and deliver engaging communication campaigns supporting project execution.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning technology platforms (experience with platforms like How Now, Easygenerator and Articulate is advantageous).
  • Skilled facilitator and trainer, ideally with relevant certifications in leadership development and psychometrics.
  • Familiarity with continuous performance management systems and talent development processes and platforms.
  • Experience working in a global, remote, or multi-country context and willingness to travel when necessary.
