The Role:
You will be responsible for the administrative processes associated with raising Purchase requests & Purchase orders to support the global operations and Great Yarmouth base.
In addition, you will be supporting the rest of the warehouse with their daily duties.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Provide purchase order support for the Stores teams including logistics, workshop & purchasing.
  • Following up on orders with delivery updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders.
  • Maintain the purchase order delivery notes on Sharepoint.
  • Maintain accurate records, filing & compiling reports as required.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Manage, organise and update database applications as required (IFS/Sharepoint).
  • Liaise with Accounts payable on supplier/GRN issues.
  • Update and Maintain Goods receipt and purchases within Business Software.
  • Support other roles as directed Checking, packing and unpacking shipments, stock counting, signing delivery notes, issuing stock to the workshop team.
  • Maintain high standards at all times with regards to health and safety.

Qualifications and Experience:
Competent in all aspects of Microsoft Office, high level of computer literacy, good knowledge of English Grammar along with good interpersonal skills.
Experience with CRM and business management software.
Experience in Business Administration/Data Input, within busy organisations.
Prior experience working in a store’s or warehouse environment, demonstrating the ability to manage inventory, organise stock, and maintain accurate records.

  • You will need excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and other departments.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving stock.
  • Be able to identify and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies and stock management.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • You will need to be able to self-motivate and time manage workloads.

*This role is based in Great Yarmouth, so you will need to live within a commutable distance to this location.
