About Us:
ScanTech Offshore – a part of the James Fisher Group, provide an impressive range of rental equipment, including air compressors, steam generators and rig cooling services, as well as designing, installing and commissioning bespoke heat suppression safety systems.
The Energy Division provides safe, sustainable products and services for two core markets, oil and gas and renewables.
The Role:
The Engineering Administrator will support engineering, procurement and the business systems team, this will include collating and filing technical documentation working with the certification department, raising purchase requisitions for project build schedules and general data input as required to the ERP and PDM systems.
They will work closely with the whole engineering team along with the Great Yarmouth workshop team, during equipment manufacture and operations to support global projects.
Principle Accountabilities:
Engineering:
- Documentation management - ensuring all project specific documentation is filed correctly.
- Liaise between the engineering and certification team to ensure equipment certification packs are complete for new build equipment.
- Generate engineering documentation under guidance.
Procurement:
Raise purchase requisitions and orders, liaise with suppliers as required to expedite delivery dates.
Business Systems team:
To assist with but not limited to data input tasks, such as creating new users, creating new parts, running of data migration jobs, and creating of engineering BoM within system to assist with capex procurement.
In addition, you will be expected to attend meetings as required to assist with minute taking.

You will need excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a number of tasks at the same time.
Ability to prioritise your own workload.
Strong communication skills and able to work effectively within a team.
You will need to be approachable with exceptional communication skills.
Flexible approach to work, combined with attention to detail and a hands on work ethic, you will be comfortable using new systems and confident in picking up new processes.
A team player who is willing to learn and develop within the role and able to take on new assignments as they arise.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience using Microsoft packages (word, excel etc.).
- Previous experience within an administrative role would be advantageous.
- Experience on ERP/MRP Systems preferable.
*This role is to be based at the Scantech Offshore offices in Great Yarmouth therefore, you will need to live within a commutable distance to this location.
