About the Role

HSEQ Coordinator

Permanent, Full-time 

Seething, Hybrid working

The Role: 

As part of our Maritime Transport division, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with company HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) policies and procedures. You’ll provide hands-on operational support and guidance to help control and manage risks, while fostering a culture of ownership and engagement in HSEQ across the business.

Working collaboratively with departments and product lines, you’ll help maintain a safe and healthy working environment and support the local implementation of HSEQ management systems. Your efforts will contribute to continuous improvement and the development of best practices throughout our operations.

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in HSEQ administration, ideally within marine, offshore, or subsea environments.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Provide HSEQ support to Maritime Transport Division Product Lines, projects, departments, worksites, and contracted personnel, ensuring compliance with internal processes, legislative, industry best practice and client specific requirements.
  • Track all Intelex notifications and support all incident / accident investigations, including collation of evidence and trend analysis.
  • Monitor and follow up all corrective actions for satisfactory close out.
  • Maintain all HSEQ monitoring systems, including event and corrective action trackers for effective performance and trend monitoring.
  • Create a range of deliverable HSE documentation and notices as requested.
  • Monitoring of close out of non-conformance findings / actions.
  • Provide support in the collation of Green House Gas Emissions data for MT Division Product Lines.
  • Conduct administrative functions, including minuting HSEQ interviews and meetings and reviewing HSEQ documentation etc.

    What we’re looking for: 

    Essential: 

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of coordinating HSEQ management systems.
  • Excellent IT skills using MS Office products.
  • Be personally energetic and enthusiastic and possess the ability to act through reasoned decision making.
  • Challenge conventional thinking in the pursuit of HSEQ excellence and deal with queries from all areas of the Maritime Transport division.
  • Able to work under own initiative and adapt to changing situations.

    Nice to have: 

  • Knowledge of HSE legislation an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn new skills with a view to advancing HSEQ knowledge
