Head of Sales and Marketing
Full-Time, Permanent
Stavanger, Norway with regional and international travel as required

The Role:
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Head of Sales & Marketing to lead our growth across Norway. This senior role will drive the development and execution of ambitious sales strategies, build strong and lasting relationships with key clients, and deliver sustainable revenue growth through tailored, customer-focused solutions. Alongside leading the sales agenda, the role will shape and deliver a cohesive marketing and communications strategy that aligns with our wider business objectives. A critical part of this position is fostering collaborative, trust-based relationships across the organisation, supporting the One James Fisher model and advancing our long-term ambition in the Norwegian market.
 
What you'll be doing:
  • Uphold the highest safety and quality standards at all times.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and meet revenue targets.
  • Lead, coach, and support the sales team to ensure high performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Partner with operations and product teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
  • Track and analyse sales performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Division and Group teams to deliver aligned marketing and communications strategies.
  • Work with Strategy/BD and Digital teams to leverage market intelligence, digital channels, and martech tools.
  • Support internal and external communications plans in alignment with Regional, Division, and Group priorities.
  • Coordinate trade shows, events, and key leadership engagements, including QBRs and strategy meetings.
What we're looking for:
  • A degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Significant experience in a senior business development, commercial, or operational role within the oil & gas or marine industry.
  • Background working in a marine engineering environment.
  • Extensive experience in sales leadership and sales management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with leadership teams and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
  • Experience across marketing, internal communications, and events.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
  • Proven leadership capability with a focus on coaching and developing others.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams.
  • A strong personal commitment to safety, demonstrated in all aspects of work.
