The Role
We are looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager to play a pivotal role at the forefront of the offshore wind industry. In this role, you will lead in identifying and securing high-value opportunities across global renewable markets, transforming customer needs into winning solutions that deliver real impact. From shaping competitive propositions to closing strategic contracts, you will be instrumental in accelerating our growth ambitions.
Working across our WTG Services portfolio, including blade services and wider wind-turbine services, you will connect technical expertise with customer insight, ensuring we stay ahead in a rapidly evolving sector.
If you thrive on building relationships, unlocking new business, and making a measurable difference in clean energy, this is your opportunity to contribute to a more sustainable future.
What you'll be doing:
- Identify, develop, and convert opportunities into revenue aligned with strategic goals.
- Manage opportunities end-to-end, from identification through bid, negotiation, and contract award, ensuring governance compliance.
- Partner with technical teams to create competitive, value-led, and risk-aware propositions.
- Develop strong, lasting connections with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Inform go-to-market plans using market insight, trends, and competitor analysis.
- Negotiate and execute contracts that protect commercial and financial interests.
- Keep pipeline data up to date with clear status and risk-weighted forecasts.
- Coordinate across teams to support smooth delivery, handover, and continuous improvement.
What we're looking for:
- Strong commercial and business development experience within renewables.
- Solid understanding of offshore wind or related service sectors.
- Proven track record delivering sales results and managing complex deals.
- Good knowledge of contract structures and negotiation practices.
- Ability to translate customer needs into practical, competitive solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in CRM systems and standard business tools.
- Collaborative approach with experience working across international teams.
- Additional European language skills will be advantageous.
