About the role
Oversee the implementation of the Group PMO Framework processes and systems across all assigned Product Lines.
Close liaison with Product Line Management and Divisional PMO resources to provide process customization development, guidance, support, and monitoring compliance.
Principal Accountabilities
- Managing the day-to-day interface with assigned Product Line PMO resources, leading the customization of Group procedures aligned with Product Line specific requirements.
- Provide training and guidance on Group PMO policies and processes, providing support to project & service management resources, and collaborating with Product Lines and department leads in relation to the develop of projects, programs and services.
- Project Manage assigned group programs in accordance with the annual Strategy Plan, liaise with Group Operations Project Control to ensure continuous monitoring of program schedule delivery, reporting risks and status updates.
- Participation and contribution to technically complex, high value tenders that require Investment Committee approval.
- In relation to the assigned Product Lines, attend Project Status Report “PSR” monthly review meetings involving projects that required Investment Committee approval during the tender phase, including internal capital investment projects.
- Oversea quarterly reviews of lessons learned and internal feedback in relation to the Product Line implementation of Group PMO Framework processes and procedures and implement continual process improvement.
- Liaise with Divisional FD’s and Product Line finance management to ensure a systematic process and standard method is utilised within all Product Lines to ensure that accurate internal costs “white book rates” are in place for all equipment assets and human resource professional roles.
- In collaboration with Group Business Systems, support the evaluation and implementation of ERP systems and software across the Product Lines where appropriate. Work with Divisional Head of PMOs to ensure projects are resources appropriately.
Knowledge, experience and skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification would be advantageous.
- A minimum of five years' experience of Project, Programme and Portfolio Management.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Process driven, attention to detail including Commercial Risk and Project P & L management
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills.
