We’re looking for a High Voltage Jointer to join us and take responsibility for onshore and offshore termination and testing activities, specifically cable fault repair.

Principal Accountabilities
- Lead jointing operations and supervise teams on asset sites.
- Perform HV cable terminations and testing onshore and offshore using various techniques and equipment.
- Complete jointing and testing of cables and accessories, including T-connectors, straight joints, and subsea joints.
- Test HV cables and accessories in line with industry standards.
- Conduct high-quality maintenance and repairs with full documentation.
- Support global client projects with flexible offshore/onshore mobilisation.
- Build strong relationships across JFR and the wider JFS Group, promoting company values.
- Champion health and safety, supporting a zero-harm culture and continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in complex HV cable jointing. Trained in at least 2 connector types.
- Electrical time served apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Offshore wind experience.
- An existing HV Maintenance technician or full WTSR Authorised Technician, with the requirement to become authorised under customers Electrical Mechanical Safety Rules and/or Wind Turbine Safety Rules and management instructions.
- Experience working with Turbine and Power Cable OEM’s.
- Willingness to travel is essential.
- IT Literate.
- NKT, Nexans, or Tyco trained >33kV (up to 400kV)
- Pfisterer Size 1–6 (Connex & Seanex)
- Advanced training >66kV (NKT, Nexans, Tyco)
- 3M Cold Shrink Joints
- VLF, Damped AC & Resonant Testing
- IOSH / NEBOSH certification
- Competent Person trained
- HV Maintenance Technician or WTSR Authorised Technician (or willing to become authorised)
