The Role
We are excited to be recruiting a Senior Business Development Analyst to join James Fisher Renewables, where you will play a key role in shaping our global growth strategy.

In this role, you will harness data and insights to empower our Sales, Business Development, and Key Account Management teams. Your work will directly influence strategic decisions and help us expand into new and emerging markets across the renewable energy.

You will explore critical market trends and product intelligence, uncovering opportunities that drive innovation and commercial success. You will also get involved in the rollout and management of a new CRM system, streamlining operations and enhancing collaboration across the entire James Fisher Group.

Role Accountabilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and target companies.
  • Support the development of go-to-market strategies and sales pipeline growth.
  • Create clear, actionable reports, models, and presentations from research findings.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Business Development, and Marketing teams to align insights and strategy.
  • Lead CRM process improvements and support the implementation of a new system across the group.
  • Design and deliver sales dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and process optimisation across the division.
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g. Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration).
  • Previous experience in a Sales Analyst role will be essential.
  • Experience in the Renewables industry is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in CRM system implementation will be beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
