The Role and requirements,

JFD Sweden is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to take on a dual role as Production Controller and Purchasing Coordinator. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately managing Glovia structures and routings for all products to optimize production efficiency and ensure financial accountability. You will oversee the Master Planning Schedule (MPS), ensuring timely processing to align material lead times with client delivery requirements. Simultaneously, you will coordinate procurement operations by managing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with quality and documentation standards. Working closely with project teams, engineers, and warehouse staff, you will support international projects and drive continuous improvement in procurement and production processes. This role is key to maintaining high standards of data accuracy, supplier management, and operational excellence.

Candidates must be eligible for and able to obtain security clearance through the relevant Defence authorities.

Principle Accountabilities

• Review work instruction, Bills of Materials (BOM) and routings to create work orders in a timely manner to meet workshop requirements. Compile work packs for distribution to workshop.
• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders (POs) in the Glovia ERP system with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records, pricing, and item master data, ensuring consistency across all systems.
• Maintaining data entry applications to ensure system information is up to date including updating design changes to open work orders.
• Coordinate and monitor supplier deliveries, ensuring timelines are met, and handle deviations and delays in collaboration with the Procurement Manager.
• Creation of Work Packs to allow all JFD products to flow efficiently through process by creating detailed work instructions along with defined engineering documents.
• Prepare and maintain procurement reports and dashboards, supporting internal stakeholders with clear and up-to-date procurement data.
• Ensure all work production work packs are electronically archived in a timely manner.

  Qualifications and Experience

• MRP and ERP systems knowledge, preferably Glovia or equivalent.
• Experience in operational procurement, preferably within manufacturing, engineering, or technical industries.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent communicator Swedish and English (verbal & written).
• Educational background or relevant experience in procurement, logistics, engineering, or economics is preferred, but equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Highly structured and methodical, with the ability to handle multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility for data accuracy and documentation control.
• Proactive, service-minded, and capable of independently managing administrative workflows.
• Adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment with continuous improvements.
• Strong team-player.
